Ann, The Person | Family Photo Album On Halloween 1994, Ann received her MN Real Estate Sales License (that's scary) and began her affiliation with ERA Dakota-Metro Realty. In 1996, Ann was a recipient of the 1st in Customer Satisfaction Award by ERA Franchise System Inc and was awarded the GRI designation (Graduate, REALTOR Institute), the most widely recognized professional designation in real estate sales. In 1998, Ann received her Broker real estate license and on August 23rd started her own real estate company, MAVRIK REALTY, which is a member of the Regional Multiple Listing Service. Ann is an active member of the Southern Twin Cities Association of Realtors (STCAR), the Minnesota Association of Realtors (MAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). In 2000, Ann was awarded the coveted Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) Designation. Less than one in five hundred licensees nationally is an Accredited Buyer Representative. Ann also earned the prestigious Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) Designation in 2000. Only about 5% of all Realtors in the U.S. can call themselves Certified Residential Specialists. Ann loves selling houses and has fun doing it! Real estate sales or real estate "service", as she prefers to describe it, is her calling. Ann targets and particularly enjoys working with first-time homebuyers who benefit greatly from her extensive knowledge of affordable housing programs (including purchase-rehab loans), her patience and her uncanny ability to find just the right house for each of them. As of December 31, 2001, Ann has successfully closed 170 real estate transactions for a total sales volume of $19,552,297. Or viewed another way, Ann has averaged in excess of $2.7 million in residential real estate transactions per year of experience. Ann's average and median sales prices have risen steadily over the past couple of years, modeling the appreciation in the Twin Cities housing market. Her average sale price rose from $90,951 in 1997 to $163,889 in 2001 (that's an average annual increase of 20% per year); her median sales price rose from $87,900 in 1997 to $156,000 in 2001(that's an average annual increase of 19% per year). It is now next to impossible to buy a house, even a fixer-upper, in the Twin Cities for under $100,000.
